Akona Nondyola (born September 20, 1992), better known by his stage name Mad-A-CPT, is a South African hip hop musician, rapper and record producer. He is best known for his début hit single, "All I do".Born in Mdantsane East London, Akona grew up in Ezibeleni, Queentown, a major township in the Eastern Province. He wanted to be a musician from first grade and performed on stage for the first time at the age of 9, at a school talent show. He started writing lyrics and kept working on his music throughout his late teen years, moving to the Western Cape and registering with West Coast College (Atlantis) after school. In early 2015, a friend of Mad-A-CPT, Avela, gave him the beat for the song that would eventually become his debut single "All I do".

Mad-A-CPT said that the entire track was recorded and finalized in two hours. "All I Do" received major radio play in Southern Africa and featured on the local radio stations like Radio Atlantis and Bush Radio/Heawarmaz, and South African rapper Alpha_Metic featured on the Track.
